Who is responsible for terms of use, imprint and privacy policy?

The CleverConnect customer is responsible for the terms of use, imprint and privacy policy. CleverConnect does not appear at any point here and is exclusively the provider of the underlying platform. However, we can provide support with non-binding templates.

According to §5 TMG, German companies are required to provide an imprint for online services. This includes the use of the Referral program. However, since the customer acts as the provider of the service, the customer's imprint data must be provided. According to EU Directive 2003/58/EC, the imprint obligation also extends to companies based in other European countries.
