The most frequent questions we receive on the subject of gamification revolve around two issues: How can I prevent fraud? And how can I ensure that my budget is not blown? You will find answers to these questions in this article.
Fraud prevention has long been “standard” at Talentry.
Point limits are also nothing new. What is new, however, is that the choice of limits has been extended. These two features fit perfectly together and help you get the best of both worlds with Talentry Gamification: fun and motivation for your employees – security and control for HR teams.
What are fraud prevention and point limits?
Fraud prevention is an automatic control mechanism based on various scenarios and experience that prevents points being awarded. This feature is already active an any referral programme using gamification – so you don’t have to worry about anything.
Point limits, on the other, can be defined by you the customer, if you wish.
Why are fraud prevention and point limits helpful?
Both features protect your gamification programme from misuse and help you stay within budget. You don’t have to forego rewarding honest employees for fear of rotten apples.
What problems do fraud prevention and point limits solve?
Many of our customers are convinced that a sensible rewards system can make their referral programmes even more successful. With fraud prevention and point limits, we at Talentry address any security concerns and help you keep costs fully under control.
Point limits: (customizable)
Our system allows employees to set different limits for shared posts:
- Setting how many points are awarded for sharing, for clicks and for applications;
- Setting how many posts may be shared daily and how many clicks are rewarded daily;
- Monthly or alternatively weekly points to be achieved by shares and clicks.
Fraud Prevention: How to prevent abuse automatically
In addition to being able to individually limit the number of shares scored for your company per day and set a weekly or monthly limit, points are not awarded at all for certain situations.
Scenarios for which there are no points:
- A click from the same IP address as the original share (i.e., from the same computer/mobile phone).
- The clicker was already logged into Talentry as a user beforehand (e.g. if the clicker himself is a work colleague)
- The IP address has already generated a point in the previous 24 hours.
If you have any further questions, or are unsure about how points are counted, ask anytime in our chat at the bottom right or email support@talentry.com.
